Brown n' Greenfield have a comprehensive for RSS - reinforced soil structures - for walls and slopes to build your geotecnical structure using local soils and geogrids, only, up to 100's of meters high.

Saves time and money and is eco-friendly compared to concrete walls.

Slopes can be constructed up to 70 degrees and walls up to 90 degrees (vertical).

All of our geosynthetics for the RSS are ISO-Certified and we design your slope or wall using our software and help you every step of the way with your project.

Each Reinforced Soil Structure is built-up with individual 0.5 thick layers, with reinforcing high tensile geogrids increasing the shear strength of the local soil.

The local soil can also be lahar.

We use our drainage systems and Hi-Ten Filter geotextiles to make the RSS free-draining and therefor far more superior to concrete walls that often fail due to poor water pressure build-up.

Our designs are also seismic-proof so an excellent choice when you need an earthquake resisting structure, even if the ground is steep and inaccessible. 

We can finish the RSS with many type of front facing.

A green face is a good choice, especially in the provinces, as our wrap-around geogrid and galvanized mesh facing can be seeded or hydro seeded to green-up quickly - blending into the mountain side. The RSS simply becomes part of the landscape.

Other types of hard facing can be BrownBlock and GreenStone modular blocks, made of lahar, adobe clay or concrete, with a choice of surface finish and color to suit your project.

Just like a Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) wall,we can also offer reinforced concrete panels as your facing - very appropriate in urban environments like bridge abutments, MRT's, flyovers, bypass roads, etc..

Highways can easily be repaired or widened using Reinforced Soil Structures. For example, two-roads can be widened to four-lane highways quickly and easily. Where bridges are present, RSS can also be used for the bridge abutments and culverts without the need for using extensive piling.
